Dr Amanda Bye - Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement Co-Lead
Amanda Bye is King’s Maudsley Partnership’s Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) co-Lead and a Translational Research Fellow, based in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King’s College London. Her research focuses on youth and perinatal mental health, with particular interests in self-harm, eating disorders, and digital technology.
Amanda is committed to ensuring that research reflects the lived experience of children, young people, and their families. She also manages the Child Mental Health and Neurodevelopmental Disorders theme at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre and leads the 3S-YP study on social media, smartphone use, and self-harm, in partnership with YoungMinds.
