Dr Amita Jassi - Co-lead, Affective Disorders Community of Practice
Amita Jassi is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist at the National and Specialist OCD, Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) and Related Disorders Service for Children and Young People at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, where she has worked since 2006. She leads the BDD service and serves as Research Lead for the clinic.
Amita has published more than 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and several books, including treatment workbooks and therapist manuals, and teaches and trains clinicians nationally and internationally. She is also Vice Chair of the BDD Foundation, the only charity in the world dedicated to BDD.
