Dr Bruce Clark - Clinical Director, King's Maudsley Partnership
Bruce Clark is the Clinical Director for King's Maudsley Partnership and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. He is also the Clinical Director for the National and Specialist obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) and Related Disorders Service at The Maudsley Hospital. He leads the National and Specialist OCD Team at The Pears Maudsley Centre. This is the only national specialist referral centre for child and adolescent OCD in the United Kingdom. The team specialises in the assessment and treatment of OCD and related disorders.
Bruce trained in psychiatry at The Bethlem and Maudsley Hospitals, as well as the IoPPN, where is he a visiting researcher.
Bruce and his team have been interested a wide range of research-led clinical developments. These recently include a video treatment package for OCD as well as carrying out the first randomised control trial for cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for BDD in this age group.
