Dr Josefien Breedvelt — Co-lead, Affective Conditions Community of Practice

Josefien Breedvelt joined King's College London in January 2023 on a Prudence Trust Fellowship. Her research focuses on preventing the onset and relapse of common mental health conditions, with a central interest in what works, for whom, and when. She draws on a range of methods including individual participant data meta-analyses, longitudinal risk modelling, and experimental studies.

Josefien holds a PhD from the University of Amsterdam focused on depression prevention, and an MSc in Mental Health Sciences from King's College London.
