Professor Philip Shaw - Director, King's Maudsley Partnership
Philip Shaw is Director of King's Maudsley Partnership and Head of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) at King's College London, joining King's in October 2024. He also holds a Professorship by the Academy of Medical Sciences (AMS).
Prior to joining the King’s Maudsley Partnership, Philip had been working at National Institutes of Health in the United States and brings a wealth of experience in ADHD and related disorders, utilising longitudinal genetic and imaging data to understand variations in these conditions and their long-term prognosis. His research and experience are driving our strategy to better understand underpinning causes of mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders, to improve prevention and intervention.
