Sara Saunders is Programme Lead for the King's Maudsley Partnership, with extensive experience in healthcare leadership, mental health services, and cross-sector collaboration. A mental health nurse by background, Sara has held senior roles at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, and NHS England.
She led the national rollout of Mental Health Support Teams in schools, a flagship programme supporting children and young people's mental health across England, and brings together operational expertise, alliance leadership, and a passion for partnership working to drive meaningful innovation.
